What To Expect at Sanctuary Barber Co
We want your experience at Sanctuary to feel simple, relaxed, and intentional from start to finish. Below is a quick overview of what to expect, from booking your appointment to checkout.
Booking Your Appointment
We take appointments online and work back to back throughout the day, which means we’re rarely able to answer phone calls. Availability is always up to date on the booking page.
Choose the service you need and any optional add ons, then select your preferred barber. If you’re flexible, you may also choose any barber for the first available opening.
A credit card is required to secure your appointment. Your card is not charged when you book and is held only in case of a no show or late cancellation.
Payment is completed after your appointment. You can pay in person using any card or your phone. We no longer charge cards on file.
When booking, you may upload up to three photos of yourself or inspiration images. This step is optional, but highly encouraged. Photos help us better understand your goals and prepare for your visit.
Once your appointment is booked, you’ll receive a confirmation by text and email.
Waitlist Availability
If you don’t see a time that works for you, we recommend joining the waitlist. Openings come up often due to reschedules.
When joining the waitlist, you’ll have the option to upload a photo or selfie of your current hair. Including a photo helps us quickly assess timing and gives you priority consideration if an opening becomes available.
Arrival & Check In
Sanctuary is located inside Image Studios. The front door remains locked to maintain a private and calm environment.
Fifteen minutes before your appointment, you’ll receive a text with a check in link. When you arrive, simply check in using the link.
Once checked in, either Dan or Heather will notify you when we’re ready and greet you at the front door. Many clients find it most comfortable to wait in their car until they receive that notification.
This system allows us to stay on time while giving every client our full attention.
Your Appointment Experience
Your appointment begins with a consultation to make sure we’re aligned on what you’re looking for. If you didn’t upload photos ahead of time, you’re welcome to share inspiration in person.
During your service, you’ll have a TV to watch and relaxed music playing in the background. Our space is private, unrushed, and designed to help you settle in and enjoy the experience.
As part of your service, we’ll also check details like ear hair and eyebrows when needed.
At the end of the appointment, we’ll review everything together and ask if there are any adjustments you’d like. Please don’t hesitate to speak up. We want you to leave feeling confident and completely happy with your service.
Checkout & Payment
Checkout happens after your service is complete.
We prefer payment by card or phone. Cash is accepted, though we may not always have change available.
We no longer process payments using the card on file due to increased processing fees. This change helps us keep pricing consistent while continuing to improve the experience at Sanctuary.

Sanctuary is a private, appointment only space designed for quality, comfort, and consistency. Everything about our booking and check in process exists to protect your time and ensure every visit feels relaxed and intentional.
